[ Hello, Johto and Kanto. This bright morning, we give you a not so bright entry. Wherever this video feed is taking place, it's rather dimly lit and the whole room is dull to the eyes. The dark grey brick wall and lack of any kind of furniture on screen doesn't help at all. Wherever this is, it's certainly not your average building or house. ]

[ Well, at least it's not completely boring and the camera recording nothing. After all, we got Souji taking up most of the camera space and looking in somewhat worse shape than usual. It's really not too bad; just a small bruise on his cheek and somewhat messier hair. It can easily be explained with someone opening the door right on his face or something similar. ]

[ Anyway, he gives a small single wave to the camera and finally begins; ]

Sorry, but the Breeding Centre at Goldenrod City may be a bit slow in restocking and the new addition of eggs for the start of September. Orders and any calls may also be delayed until about next week. The same applies to the Foster Home.

So if anyone can help me cover at the centre, that'll be great since something 'personal' came u--

Why don't you just tell 'em we got a room in jail last night?

[Behind Souji, leaning against the wall there's Crow, who doesn't appear very... happy, but not really fazed, either. More like bored. And who can blame him? He's been standing like this with his arms folded for quite a while.]

[ Souji, on the other hand, drops his apologetic look and replaces it with a more irritated one, turning to Crow. He's been trying to cover up the whole fact that they are in jail, but no point in denying it now... Some people probably have already guessed that they were in a cell by the whole look of it, either by being in one themselves or noticing that it looks like a cliché cell. ]

We're only in jail because of you.

[That simple sentence is enough to cause Crow to get defensive: he lets out an annoyed huff, stepping away from the wall with an implacable expression.]

I didn't start it!!

[ Crow is clearly mentally four, but yeah yeah, whatever. Back to the camera and ignoring that last sentence. ]

Anyway, yeah, we've got caught up in something and going to be in jail for about a week. If anyone can cover for us or bail us out, that'll be great.

[ Because jail is not a fun place to be at, kids. ]

(( ooc; takes place after this log and also, bail will actually not be possible for these two, so if any character who comes to the station and tries to bail them out, they'll get a warning similar to "we don't accept that kind of thing here >C" from the Officer Jennies. Bails are considered to be "bribes" here, so no luck there. Thanks to Ara and Sunny for clearing this up!

He massages his slightly swollen cheek in a failed attempt to actually cover it from being seen -- and the fact he chooses to wear sleeveless shirts doesn't help him, either, because there are clearly some bruises scattered on his arms.]

[Welp. Now that he looks closer he definitely notices everything. And looks a bit worried.]

Didn't you get any medical treatment there?

[He rolls his eyes a bit at the suggestion. Seriously, these are just bruises.]

Even smaller scrathces and bruises might become an big issue if they aren't treated well.

[Crow here, on the other hand, is pretty used to the lack of medical care in general sense.]

Well, don't complain too much, then, if they get infected and you suffer. It might not sound too bad now, but it hurts more than you can imagine.
