[A video feed starts with a camera shaking around for a few seconds. On the screen, all you see at first is some kind of small tree, filled with berries. It's kinda hard to tell what kind they are because in just a few seconds, the camera pans around to our silver-haired leader, Souji Seta. He seems to be holding some kind of peach-shaped berry-- just like those on the tree --in one of his hands, tossing it up and down a few times. For those further knowledgeable about these strange fruits, it seems like a Pecha Berry; good for curing poison on Pokemon, not good for humans. It seems like Souji doesn't know that though.]

...I found a few of these fruits around, so I picked one. They remind me of the peaches back at home.

[He then nods his head towards his Skarmory behind him, who just seems to swallowing the berries all down. Just because it can cure an ailment, it didn't mean it couldn't eat it just for the heck of it. Man, these fruits are delicious. Munch Munch Munch...]

Izanagi seems to like them, so I'm curious if they'll taste like the peaches back at home...

[Might as well give it a try, right? After all, what is there to lose? It couldn't be much worse than the time he drank that red miso soup that actually turned white...right? If this fruit was edible, that would really help in their travels too. It's not like he has anything important to lose. Just his life and intestines. He can deal with that.

He brings the fruit up to his mouth and takes a large bite out of it. It's just like a suspense movie where you're just wondering what would happen. For those who know the side effects of the Pecha fruit, you'll just be waiting in dread for it. For those who don't know the side effects, it should be fine...right? But...it looks like Souji's eyes are staring to water now.

His tongue is burning from just one bite of that berry, a very, very strong taste and spiciness washing over it. This is just as bad as Rise's overdoses on the chili pepper, actually, probably worse. His throat is starting to swell up and his breathing becomes irregular and ragged. It looks like he's having troubles breathing. Oh God, why has he eaten that berry? This was worse than anything he ate before, and that's including science projects and Mystery Food X.

Souji looks straight into the camera and just wheezes:]

...Bad ide--wheeze--a...don't..heez...don't eat the be--wheeze-rries...

[Oh good Ho-Oh, just give him a few minutes. The side effects should run off in ten minutes, but oh Izanagi, why did he eat that? It looks like curiosity did kill that cat or is about to. Oh God, it's hard to breath. How is he going to stick up with this for ten minutes? Oh sweet Susano-O, whyyyyyyyy]

[And it was very unpleasant. It's like Rise's cooking, just ten times worse. So when he gets a reply back to Kanji after fifteen minutes, his face is still a little flushed from the difficulty in breathing and spiciness.]

Yeah, yer not supposed to eat the berries, Senpai... Book said they're for the pokemon. [Of course, Kanji didn't really read the book either. Naoto probably filled him in.]

Yeah, I think the worst of it passed by.

I heard about that...I didn't read much of it, but I should have. Probably a big mistake...

I read a lot more before I came to Inaba. Just felt like stopping during my stay there.

I heard about that chart...One of the girls here actually sent me a copy with her Pokemon.

[Well, senpai did change a lot over his stay in Inaba. If this was PRE-Inaba, just gonna stay away from everyone like the plague. He's like a Minato!]

Really? Yeah, I haven't seen anything like Izanagi either, but I thought there will be more of his kind. Seen a lot of pink flowers and birds though.

Well, there are lots of birds... I got one myself. But none like him! He's badass!

[He lets out a small chuckle. "Badass" huh?]

Heh... Mosta mine are more cute than anything else. Not that I mind...
