[From a very familiar ID, a simple text message comes instead of an usual video feed. Why? Well, that is a ~*SECRET*~ but it involves riding on a Charizard right now, attacking any bugs, and being outside someone's window...

Has anyone thought of starting a breeding centre or something?

Or being both a trainer or a breeder?

[For those who might know Souji, they can probably figure out why he's asking. After giving out at least a hundred eggs out to people, he's thinking about being at least a part-time breeder so he can at least somewhat expect the eggs to give away. Opening a breeding centre might be good too, something like that daycare but just for...well, breeding.

What else is he going to do with this Ditto? Besides, a lot of people seem interested in getting Pokemon eggs.]

Mada took care of most of them. The bugs are weak to fire, so the trip wasn't that bad. [except the exploding pinecone things, but shhhh, Yosuke doesn't need to know about that.]

How about you; still feeling sick? [From Yosuke's earlier text message, it has said that he's fine, but who knows just how fine he is. Ye-yeah, but still. [Well, he kind of feels weird making a big deal out of it, but it took him by surprise.]

I'm fine now, re- [Well, as fine as can be. His nose his still stuffed and he's got a bit of a cough, both of which can probably be heard in his voice, which falters on him as he reacts to the fever checking.] Dude, what are you doing!? I- I'm okay!

[ Souji doesn’t really react, just nodding and takes his hands off both foreheads. He doesn’t seem very bothered with that whole “don’t touch me, bro”. Instead, he just looks around the room with one hand placed on his hip as usual ~~like a supermodel~~ ] Have you taken the medicine and soup I’ve gave you?

[He folds his arms, sighing. You're such a mom sometimes, Souji.] Yeah, of course I did. Oh!

[Yosuke remembers something -- and of course, carefully avoids how sick he actually was. He goes to the corner of the room, where his backpack is tossed haphazardly, with things falling out of it and pulls out a Pokéball. With a grin, he holds it out to Souji.] I guess I should give this back now, huh?

[Souji looks down at the Pokeball for a second before breaking out in a smile.] Thanks.

[He unzips his sling bag first and takes the ball, tossing it in. After digging around between clothes and other items, he pulls out another Pokeball and holds it out.] This is for you then. [Three seconds to guess what it is. Hint: It starts with ‘S’ and ends in ‘uper hungry and hurr durr Slowpoke”]

[Looks at the Pokéball, clearly confused by this.] Huh...? Why are you giving me another one?

[He just smiles.] Open it up. You'll see an old friend.

An old friend? [What does that even mean? He sighs, taking the Pokéball and motioning to open it.]

[And then. Face.] Wh-what the hell am I supposed to do with a Slowpoke!?

[a shrug] Jiraya has been your starter Pokemon when you have arrived here with me and Teddie. You just kinda left it alone or attempted to train it...

[Staring in disbelief for a second.] It's name is Jiraiya?

[He's wondering what possessed him to name a Slowpoke - a water type - after his Persona that used wind based attacks. But he realizes that after Chie named herself, anything was possible. There's a small sigh of defeat as he kneels down to Jiraiya's level, giving him an unsure pat on the head.] We-well hey then, buddy. Guess we're... reunited then, huh?

[If that Slowpoke just yawns and falls asleep right there, you might find out why the previous Yosuke has been so frustrated by it...]

...It eats a lot so make sure you feed it well and keep it away from your bag.

[Way to ruin the moment, Souji. Jiraiya's just lazily nuzzling his hand - he's... as happy as he can appear to be.]

Greeeeeat. Maybe he should've been named Chie instead.

[He looks over to the bed for a moment, where the Scyther is just curled up, sleepy pretty peacefully, all things considered.] Thanks for uh... taking care of him while I was gone, partner. I guess. This stuff is so confusing.

[He just offers another smile.] Think you'll stay here longer this time to take care of them yourself?

[He looks down at Jiraiya, deciding it's best to try and keep him in the Pokéball for now - so he recalls him and stands back up. Looking back at Souji, he slaps a hand down on his shoulder.] Dude. I'm not leaving unless we all go together. And you guys oughta try and do the same.

[ He nods. ] Yeah and I think Rise might just get a tad bit annoyed if you make off by yourself again.

Man, the last thing I need is her getting mad at me over something like that.

Better make sure you don't eat anything she cooks for a while then. Who knows what she'll put in it this time.

And pass on Mystery Food X, part three? [Snorts.] Yeah, you're right. I don't think I have a death wish. Yet.

Hope not. I don't think I want to look after Jiraiya again if you're gone.

You know what? I don't think I blame you. At all. What was I thinking when I named him?

I think you said that it was the first name that came to mind and you had no idea Jiraiya would turn out to be "un-Jiariyaish".

Hehe, yeah... that sounds like something I'd say, huh. Well. Lesson learned. Definitely not gonna impulse name them.
