You did more than that. Pulling me away from that car, walking me to your workplace, keeping an eye on me, then taking me back home was not part of your job.
It was kind of you to do so and if you'd let me, I want to return the favour.
[ this reply takes a few minutes before it's sent through. souji's doing his best to remember what it was and if he could get any details about it from his memories of his other life but he can't provide much ]
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. I've faced it once before in my memories but I don't know if I've actually defeated it.
I just know that its name is Izanami, like the goddess of creation and death in Japan.
[He said he'd come to meet Cream-san, so what better time than now? It's the weekend, and he's actually gotten his studies completed, leaving some time to spend with the boyfriend and his many, many cats.
[ it's been almost two months since souji originally got the scar that stretched down from his neck to his collarbone. at this point, it's something that he has been to get over but he's been hiding it behind high collar shirts or sweaters, not wanting it to become a point of conversation (especially since it didn't involve just him - it involved mako) or concern. today, however, he's in the comfort of his own home and the only one coming over is tatsuma so he doesn't feel the urge to cover it up. ]
No, I've brought these out thinking that you can use them. The cats will warm up to you faster if you give them treats.
[ he'll hold out the bag of cat snacks for tatsuma ]
Based on my memories, there were two forms. The first was cloaked and looked more aligned with the usual ideas of what goddesses look like so that form must have the creation side of Izanami while the second form must have been representative of the death aspect.
But I don't think we'll see it again, not as long as that fog doesn't return.
[It's been getting rather chilly lately, especially after the sunset. Visiting the beach at this hour of the night is practically asking for a flu, but Ragna doesn't concern himself with details like that. He's been passing by the beach anyway, so he figures cooling his head for a little bit won't hurt. He strolls along the seashore, deep in thought, and without even realizing it arrives at a completely deserted part of the beach.
At least, that's what he assumes until a lightning suddenly strikes the ground way too close to him.]
WHAT THE FUCK?!
[It's like every day of his life is an "I Shouldn't Be Alive" episode.]
