[It's been getting rather chilly lately, especially after the sunset. Visiting the beach at this hour of the night is practically asking for a flu, but Ragna doesn't concern himself with details like that. He's been passing by the beach anyway, so he figures cooling his head for a little bit won't hurt. He strolls along the seashore, deep in thought, and without even realizing it arrives at a completely deserted part of the beach.
At least, that's what he assumes until a lightning suddenly strikes the ground way too close to him.]
WHAT THE FUCK?!
[It's like every day of his life is an "I Shouldn't Be Alive" episode.]
[ it's practically become a ritual for souji at this point. every week, he takes a couple of nights to go out to the deserted part of the beach to practise with his personas. even if he has practically mastered over his first few personas such as mada and kohryu, he doesn't want to get rusty and he pushes himself to train with them as frequently as his newer personas. for tonight, he's practising with izanagi-no-okami, a newer addition and with a much wider set of abilities than the rest. while he's gotten the overall hang of izanagi, it's still hard to direct his attacks to the exact place he wants them to go but since he's alone here at the beach, it's okay if a stray ziodyne goes flying somewhere else, right? ]
[ wrong ]
Ragna?!
[ souji didn't even notice that someone else was nearby until he looked in the direction that the ziodyne went off to and saw the man. he recalls back izanagi-no-okami and starts running over to ragna ]
[Ragna stares at the ground where the lightning hit, not sure whether he should be cursing his luck or thanking it for saving his life. If he'd been walking a little faster, he'd be a crisp by now...
Looking up at the sound of a familiar voice, the man's expression of shock (no pun intended) turns back to the usual frown. How come he did not see this one coming?]
... Just peachy. Can't you tell?
[He snarls in response, straightening himself to try and appear cool and composed, though the truth is his beating a mile a goddamn minute.]
Why is it that every time we meet I almost get killed?!
[That's... pretty legit, dumb as it is. Ragna could insist on staying mad, but Souji seems genuinely apologetic, so he might as well let it go. If the kid wanted him dead, his weird summon things could probably arrange that, so he's fairly certain the whole incident was an accident, annoying as it was.]
If that hit me, no amount of healing would help. [He waves his hand dismissively.] Nah, I'm fine.
[Just startled, but he's not telling him that. Instead, he glances around, trying to figure out why Souji has been throwing lightnings around. It doesn't seem like he's been attacked by anything, considering they're the ones here and— barring their antics— the area is filled with peaceful silence.]
So... what the eff are you even doing here? Aside from killing whoever passes by.
[ well... that's true. souji doesn't know if his magic is strong enough to heal someone from being burnt to a crisp from a bolt of lightning so he should be glad that he missed... is it good luck that it missed ragna or is it bad luck that it nearly even happened? this is a naegi-like dilemma of luck... ]
This is where I train with my Personas. I try to come out every other day to practice. It's normally deserted.

[ aha... bad joke but really, he already bows to apologize ]
I'm really sorry, though. Do you need any healing?
