I remember running down a path... and hearing a voice. There was fog... I couldn't see very well.

[ He shakes his head slowly, letting his hand fall and his eyes shut. ]

It didn't even feel real. I'm not sure if that was a dream or a memory.

[ ... Wait, this is starting to sound similar to a "memory" he just recently got as well. ]

... Did the voice say anything about seeking the truth?

[ He can't say that this is the exact same scenario that Yu went through but he has to ask because running down a path? Hearing a voice? Fog? This matches Souji's own experience and that can't be just a coincidence. ]

[ Stares at Souji openly, eyes slightly wide. ]

[ Bewildered and a little concerned at once. ]

... I think I might have remembered something similar. But at the end of it, I was fighting against... someone. I couldn't make them out.

[ He ducks his chin, though doesn't look away. ]

A vague figure that felt futile to fight... I had a sword, and abilities I can't explain. Something like that?

[ And one more nod. At this, Souji crosses his arms, looking downwards as he thinks. ]

... What do you think this means? If it's the same dream or memory.

[ Or does it mean nothing at all? ]

I ... don't know.

[ Presses a hand to his head, eyes hooding with exasperation. ]

If it's really the same... I'd guess that we experienced it at the same time, but I don't remember seeing you there.

No, I didn't see you either.

[ There seems to be a long pause before Souji seems to speak again, as if he's trying to think about what to say. ]

... To be honest, I haven't seen you in any of the memories I've gotten back so far.

[ Which is the unbelievable part, considering how close they are to each other. Granted, Souji might not have regained a lot of memories, but it still seems strange that Yu hasn't shown up in any of them so far. ]
