Well. Let's...get in the car first. It's kind of weird, and...yeah. Nothing bad, just not something I want to talk about where anyone and everyone can overhear.

[She jerks her thumb back towards the van and starts towards it, opening the passenger side for him.]

I'll take you for ice cream or something after, and drop you off wherever, okay?

Sure. You don't have to treat me to anything. I'm always willing to talk.

[ It'd be a little strange to accept ice cream anyway but he gets into the car like she asks. Ahhh, the future Mystery Van... ]

I will anyway. Because I like you.

[Starting the car up, she pulls out into the road once they are BUCKLED UP FOR SAFETY.]

Anyway. Um. You've had Hallucinomemories, yes?

[ Aw, Yukiko likes him... how cute... but for more IMPORTANT THINGS ]

I have. I've received... about seven now.

[ He'll leave it at that since he assumes that Yukiko is going somewhere by asking him this. ]

[Yukiko nods firmly, dead set on that much.]

That's about how many I've had. Maybe more. Have any of them involved me, in any way, or anyone you know from Recolle?

[ He thinks back. ]

I've had one... involving Yosuke. We've both regained the same memory at the same time when we were out one day. In all my other memories, though, I was mostly alone.

[ There's that one where he went up against a mysterious hidden figure (Izanami) but he doesn't know if he would count that since he didn't even know who they were. ]

Involving Yosuke.

[She nods at that, pretty certain that's the connection she was looking for.]

I had one about him too. And...either you or your brother. I couldn't really tell. Also Minako Arisato.

[Turning down a street, she picks up speed in the Mystery Machine...]

I think that means our other selves are connected. You and your brother, me, Yosuke, Minako, and some girl named Chie. I don't know her here, but I've seen her face and heard her talk, like we were friends.

[ Please don't speed, Yukiko... ]

These "other selves" that you've mentioned, do you believe that these hallucinomemories are actually memories of a past, future, or some other sort of life?

[But. But. how will she reenact Initial D? She's really only going so fast though.]

I'm...pretty sure they can't be of the future if one of mine was in middle school. I'm not Benjamin Button. But maybe they're of another life. Parallel reality, perhaps?

[ Why can't she just reenact those nice and slow coin-operated car rides you see in the mall for tiny kids? ]

Perhaps... [ He thinks. ] In these hallucinomemories of mine, I had silver hair and eyes in them. I never saw myself with black hair or brown eyes in them, so if these memories really are from a parallel reality, we're somehow being influenced by them.

[Because it freaks you out.]

It's funny because that's what you looked like in mine too. Silver hair. I...don't know though. Could it be dimensional bleedover? That's mentioned in some Multiple World theories.

[she shakes her head.]

Don't answer that. That's just...there's no way to know for sure. But has anything less mundane happened in your memories?

[ L-Lies! Nothing freaks out the great Souji Narukami ]

Less than mundane... [ Souji thinks back and immediately nods. ] I had two like that. They both stood out from the rest.

[ Then he hesitates, taking a pause before he continues. ]

... I put my hand through a TV in one of them.

[Turning a corner, she starts to pull towards a Basket Robins.

And then he says that]

I fell into one, in one memory.

[ ... weird question to add in but Souji's asking because he got dragged into the TV and couldn't fit beacuse it was too big so... just asking ]

[It's a question that earns a frown. Do you think she's fat?]

Yes. It was one of those big screen things. Geez.

[ ... whoops, Souji immediately understands the implication of asking that question and he's gotta BACKTRACK ]

--No, I meant I was asking because I didn't fit into the one in my memory. Mine was one of those small TVs so only my head and arm got through. That's all.

[ DOES SHE BELIEVE HIM ]
