A son already here, actually. A fetus wouldn't be able to ask questions, do keep up.
originallutece: a flying cityyyy? (talk; do you want to build)

Now that's a secret. But he's a bit older than you.

[i mean kind of and then again kind of not]

Not yet. It seems inevitable at this point, though. I've heard a strange few things about him, but I suppose that's as much my own fault as anything: I've only really asked after his powers.
originallutece: no i heard you robert i understood it i'm just waiting to see if you're done (talk; robert just made a pun)

[Oh, that's unexpectedly sweet.]

No. But that's not a slight.

[And, though she won't say it, it's not indicative of a lack of affection.]

I've known this boy-- not Dante, but the boy I was speaking of in my initial text-- since he was a child. It's rather natural we've grown to view each other in this light.
originallutece: you're not that annoying! congrats! (happy; soft gaze)

[She absolutely is going to, this is her beautiful . . . son? Nephew-in-the-distance?

But no, that makes her laugh, because she just realized the misunderstanding.]

I meant I'd never met /Dante/ and that I've been asking after his powers. I've known this boy-- let's call him Yoru, to save on confusion and time-- since he was a child. I taught him for a while when he was eight and I was in my early twenties, and now that he's moved back here, we're reconnecting. And he views me in a maternal light, which is flattering, but alarming.
originallutece: because they were bored to death, probably (talk; the good die young)

There's a difference between a teacher and a parental figure. One I know how to be; the other I've never once been.
