Why is he like this?

Well, the camera pans around and-- oh! Look POKEMON EGGS!

He's pretty much swamped with Pokemon eggs. They are just everywhere. The beds, the chairs, the floor. Yeah, it's pretty bad. His Pokemon asides from Gible looks pretty guilty in the background, even the huge Gyarados outside that's looking through the little window. They all have this guilt-stricken look...except his Ditto which is just grinning like it just did the greatest thing ever. It doesn't take much to figure out what has happened, and oh, did we mention this Ditto is just giving this smug look to the camera?

What a douche.]

Hey guys...

[A pause....how does he word this...]

Long story short: I found a Ditto in my box, left it in my room with my other Pokemon to let it know each other, came back from shopping an hour or later, and found this....

[Just...Just give him a few seconds to facepalm again and stop looking so damn proud, Ditto.]

So, does anyone want any eggs? I got eggs from a Jynx, a Skarmory, a Gyarados, and a Charmeleon.

Just...take your pick. I can't keep all of these... Just give me any offer. I'm more concerned about trying to find homes for all of these guys than anything else. I'll just have my Skarmory deliver them if you're somewhere other than Violet City.

[ Ellie scrambles (rather violently, though it's difficult to reconcile 'violent' with such copious amounts of 'adorable') out of Sebastian's arms and runs right up to hat!Ditto, peering wide-eyed. ]

[ Sebastian watches this meeting veeery closely. ]

... I do hope it's gotten its fill lately. [ Because if it so much as looks at Ellie creepingly, her mama bear will be bringing the house down. ]

[The Ditto doesn't say anything, but just transforms itself into a Teddiursa as well and waves.]

After all of this, I hope it won't happen again for a long time... [And Souji's watching it carefully too because if the Ditto tries anything, he's throwing it into his Gyarados' mouth.]

One would hope. [ Sebastian finally takes his eyes off the two when Ellie begins trying to play patty-cake with Teddiursa!Ditto. He looks back to Souji curiously. ]

Where did you acquire a Ditto, if I can ask?

[Oh, patty-cake! The Ditto is going to try and play, but it doesn't know how...TEACH IT THE WAYS OF PATTY-CAKING.]

To be honest, I just found it in my box all of a sudden at the Pokemon Center. I know you can catch one near Goldenrod, but I didn't do anything like that.

[ Ellie will happily teach! One paw at a time~ ]

Near Goldenrod, hmm? I may have to find one for myself. Are they terribly rare?

[Oh! Alright, it thinks it got it. It's a bit hard though...can it cheat by using growing two more arms?]

I haven't seen a lot of other people with them, so they might be. I'm heading back to Goldenrod in about a week, so do you want me to catch you one?

[ That just makes Ellie all the more determined to win! ... Not... that you should be able to 'win' at patty-cake. ]

Oh, no, I couldn't possibly trouble you so much! [ Sebastian is sincerely surprised by the offer. ] I'm sure I'll find my way to Goldenrod in time. My traveling companion is growing restless; the wild Pokémon around Violet no longer present a challenge for him.

[Well...Everything is a win or lose to the Ditto, so it just grew two more arms. TAKE THIS]

Did he try to take on the gym? That might be a challenge.

[ Ellie will sit her butt down and play with her feet, too. HAH. ]

He hasn't yet. I'm certain he plans to eventually, however. It wouldn't be like him to avoid a challenge like that.

[OH YOU CHEAP. Well, at least the Ditto isn't going to turn into those octopus Pokemon or something.]

Tell him to be prepared. I heard your team can get wiped out pretty easily if you go there recklessly.

I've heard similar tales, but to be honest — [ He chuckles. ] — he could stand to be defeated.

[ He glances back at Ellie and Ditto, shakes his head, then scans the room again and pauses with his eyes on the Charmander eggs. ]

These are the Charmander eggs, then? [ He comes closer and holds his hand out toward one, not quite touching it. ] Fire-type eggs all seem to be hot to the touch.

[Souji just nods and looks over Sebastian's shoulder, keeping his hands into his pockets.]

Yeah, they are. These Charmander ones aren't that hot-- just really warm. I'll still be careful though.

My companion had a Growlithe egg that was fairly hot. [ He lays his palm carefully against the egg, then lifts it up to study it. ]

I can take five or six more off your hands until you can place them, if only to free up some space in your room.

Five or six? That'll be great if it's alright with you, but that'll take up some space in your room.

Well, they're going to take up space in someone's room. [ He chuckles, glancing over his shoulder at Souji. ]

I spend most of my time in the kitchen, and my roommate is typically out training, if not with one of his lady friends. Having a little less space to sleep in won't bother us.
