[ It's the evening, and they're both home. Yu has been debating for some time what to bring up - or not bring up - with his brother, not wanting to alarm him, but this latest memory is pretty much the last straw. He has to talk to Souji.
So Yu will work up his courage and track Souji down, and ends up finding his twin sitting on his bed. Without a word Yu will end up dropping onto it beside him, heaving a sigh and shifting around until he can plant his face in a pillow and stay there for a moment.
When he finally gets his thoughts straight enough to, he thinks, maybe at least start to approach it, he tilts his head so his cheek is pressed to the pillow instead and he can actually look at Souji. ]
I've been meaning to tell you. I've had memories, too.
[ Souji hasn't been doing anything majorly important when Yu walks in and drops onto the bed. He's just been going over the instructions for a model kit that he was planning on building later that night so when Yu flops down, Souji places down the sheets of paper onto his lap and turns. He stays silent, just watching Yu, patiently waiting for him to start. He knows his brother. He knows that Yu will start when he's ready, so Souji just waits, and when Yu does start, he frowns. ]
[ Yu lets his eyes track up to his brother's serious face, and sighs silently through his nose. He'll shift again, rolling over onto his back and folding his hands loosely over his middle, staring at the ceiling with a far away gaze. ]
... memories of somewhere else, [ he says slowly. ] I don't know. Maybe it was just a dream?
[ A pause, and he presses a hand to his forehead, his eyes lidding. ]
I remember nearly falling into a TV, for starters.
[ Souji turns his entire body so he has one leg laying on the bed. He moves to place the instructions on the nightstand and places his hands on his leg. He watches Yu and his brows furrow as Yu mentions falling into a TV. That's similar to the memory that Souji got back as well, but he doesn't say anything just yet about that. ]
[ ... Wait, this is starting to sound similar to a "memory" he just recently got as well. ]
... Did the voice say anything about seeking the truth?
[ He can't say that this is the exact same scenario that Yu went through but he has to ask because running down a path? Hearing a voice? Fog? This matches Souji's own experience and that can't be just a coincidence. ]
[ There seems to be a long pause before Souji seems to speak again, as if he's trying to think about what to say. ]
... To be honest, I haven't seen you in any of the memories I've gotten back so far.
[ Which is the unbelievable part, considering how close they are to each other. Granted, Souji might not have regained a lot of memories, but it still seems strange that Yu hasn't shown up in any of them so far. ]

I remember running down a path... and hearing a voice. There was fog... I couldn't see very well.
[ He shakes his head slowly, letting his hand fall and his eyes shut. ]
It didn't even feel real. I'm not sure if that was a dream or a memory.

... yes. Exactly that. Souji, you...?
[ Bewildered and a little concerned at once. ]

... I think I might have remembered something similar. But at the end of it, I was fighting against... someone. I couldn't make them out.

A vague figure that felt futile to fight... I had a sword, and abilities I can't explain. Something like that?

... What do you think this means? If it's the same dream or memory.
[ Or does it mean nothing at all? ]

[ Presses a hand to his head, eyes hooding with exasperation. ]
If it's really the same... I'd guess that we experienced it at the same time, but I don't remember seeing you there.
