A continuation of this memory.
Souji finds himself standing before Izanami-no-Okami again but when she uses Thousand Curses on him once more, it doesn't affect him. In disbelief, she asks if it's possible for the will of the few to be greater than the will of mankind and tries to attack him twice. Souji withstands the attacks and Izanami-no-Okami questions how his power can withstand her own. She repeats her attacks but he still endures them, continuing to stand, and she asks why can't he understand. It's impossible for humans to grasp the truth with their own hands. She pauses and Souji is able to finally retaliate.
He throws off his glasses to the side and summons Izanagi-no-Okami who uses Myriad Truths against her. Close to defeat, the rest of the Investigation Team returns from the unknown (once gone from her Thousand Curses spell) and she asks them if it wouldn't have been better if they just wrapped themselves in lies and lived in blissful ignorance rather than face the truth. The team rejects this train of thought and Izanami-no-Okami congratulates them, telling them that they have lifted the fog of both the TV world and their own world before she disappears.
