Inside the TV World, Souji stands with Yosuke and Teddie in the other version of the Konish Liquors in the Twisted Shopping District. Yosuke stands by the front desk, which is covered in cut up photos. He looks down at them, saying that "it's" a lie before yelling that senpai's not like "that". Suddenly, a distorted voice matching Yosuke's starts to mock him and accuses him of thinking everyone is a pain in the ass. When the group turns, they find an identical version of Yosuke, surrounded with a blue aura and with yellow eyes. When Yosuke tries to defend himself, saying that he wouldn't think that, the Shadow asks how long he's going to keep deluding himself. He says that Yosuke pretends to be happy and carefree because he's terrified of being alone and he has to surround himself with people to block out the pain of isolation. Yosuke begins to panic as the Shadow proclaims that he's him and knows everything he's thinking. The Shadow goes on to accuse Yosuke of using Saki-senpai's death as an excuse to become a hero and at this point, Yosuke rejects the Shadow as being him. As he rejects it again, a bright light erupts from the Shadow and it changes forms into a large monster. Yosuke collapses at the sight of it and Souji is left to face it.
