The battle against Izanami.
She begins the battle in her goddess form but part-way through the battle, Souji uses the Orb of Sight to reveal her true form as Izanami-no-Okami. The battle continues until it ends with Izanami using Thousand Curses, attempting to drag Souji underneath. Each time, however, his teammates push him away and get dragged to the underworld instead. Eventually, they all disappear and Souji finally gets pulled underneath as well.
